AI voice agent for live-event redemption
YoBo
A post-purchase voucher redemption platform that lets customers redeem pre-paid tickets for shows and attractions, integrating nine partner ticketing systems behind one mobile check-in flow.
The AI angle
An AI voice agent fields inbound calls, triages the request, sends an SMS check-in link, and then guides the caller through redemption in real time — polling live session status and narrating each step until the booking is complete.
- AI voice agent with real-time, step-by-step call guidance
- 9 partner ticketing integrations behind one flow
- SMS-driven mobile check-in with live session tracking
- Multi-year production platform, continuously shipped
YoBo solves a problem every live-event and attraction business runs into: a customer bought a voucher or a pre-paid ticket somewhere upstream, and now needs to actually redeem it — at a box office, on a phone call, under time pressure — without whoever's on the other end of the line knowing anything about the ticketing system that sold it to them.
The Problem
Live shows and attractions sell through partners — resellers, bundlers, promotions — and each partner runs its own ticketing system. A customer holding a valid voucher calling in for help shouldn't have to know or care which of nine different backend systems their purchase actually lives in. Someone has to unify that on the phone, in real time, correctly, every time.
The Voice Agent
An AI voice agent takes the inbound call, triages what the caller needs, and sends an SMS check-in link to get them into a guided mobile flow. From there it stays on the line as an active guide — polling live session status and narrating each step of the redemption out loud until the booking is actually complete, not just handing off a link and hoping.
Integration Scale
Nine partner ticketing systems sit behind the one check-in flow the caller experiences — each with its own data model and quirks, normalized into a single mobile redemption path on a PHP/MySQL backend, with Playwright automating the ticketing-partner interactions that don't expose a clean API.
Where It Stands
Live in production since 2020 and continuously shipped since — a multi-year platform handling real redemptions for real events, not a pilot.
