A supplement brand, built entirely by AI
RE:TORQ
A complete 3-product men's health system — formulated, modeled, named, and designed in a single AI-driven session. Zero outside agencies.
The AI angle
AI ran the entire pipeline: ingredient research and dosing rationale, full unit-economics modeling, live USPTO/trademark screening across dozens of name candidates, co-packer sourcing, and a deployment-ready landing page — one continuous session, start to finish.
- 17 active ingredients across 3 products, dosed at clinically studied levels
- Full COGS, margin, and LTV:CAC modeling across every SKU and bundle
- Cleared trademark search across dozens of name candidates
- Co-packer shortlist + complete landing page, ready to deploy
We wanted to see how far AI could actually take a real product idea — not a demo, not a mockup, an actual brand ready for next steps. Formula, economics, name, identity, and a live landing page, built in one continuous working session. Here's what that looked like.
The Idea
A men's health supplement system — not a single bottle, but a full daily protocol. The starting point was simple: look at what's already working in the market, figure out where the formulas are actually weak, and build something better.
The Formula
We used AI to research and assemble a three-product system:
RE:TORQ AM — a morning liquid shot built around NAC, bioavailable curcumin, and beetroot extract
RE:TORQ PM — an evening capsule formula anchored by TUDCA, a clinical-grade compound most consumer supplements don't touch, alongside milk thistle and berberine
RE:TORQ HEAT — a circulation-focused shot using capsaicin, L-Citrulline, and hawthorn, engineered around the same nitric oxide pathway the body already uses
17 active ingredients across three products, each one dosed at levels pulled from actual research rather than a label-friendly minimum. Every ingredient choice came with a documented rationale — what it does, why it's dosed the way it is, and how it stacks up against the products already on shelves.
The Numbers
Before anything else got built, we ran the business case: full unit economics across all three products and every bundle configuration — ingredient cost, manufacturing, packaging, margins, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value. A working spreadsheet model, not a back-of-napkin guess. We also built out a shortlist of real contract manufacturers, complete with minimum order quantities and what to ask them for a quote.
The Name
This was the long part, and it's worth talking about honestly. Naming a supplement brand today means competing with a $50 billion category that's been actively trademarked for 40 years. We ran over a dozen name candidates through real trademark and domain research — checking each one against actual USPTO filings and existing brands — before landing on one that was genuinely clear. Most of the obvious, good-sounding names were already taken. That's not a failure of the process; that's what real trademark research looks like, and it's exactly why doing it before you spend money on packaging matters.
RE:TORQ was the one that cleared — masculine, mechanical, and built around a "reply to your body" idea that runs through the whole brand.
The Brand
Full positioning, voice, and visual identity followed the name: a dark, high-contrast look built around confident, suggestive-not-explicit copywriting — which isn't just a style choice, it's what actually clears ad review on Meta, Google, and Amazon in this category. We defined the target customer, the brand voice, the product naming convention, and a phased go-to-market plan.
The Website
Last, a complete landing page — hero section, the full three-product breakdown, the science behind the formula explained visually, social proof, FAQ, and a bundle offer — built and styled end to end, ready to hand to a developer for deployment.
Where It Stands
Formula: done. Economics: modeled. Name: cleared (informally — a formal legal search is the next step before filing). Brand identity: built. Landing page: built. What's left is the physical part — contacting manufacturers, buying the domain, standing up a real store, and eventually a bottle in someone's hand.
That's the honest state of it: everything AI can do at a desk is done. Everything that requires a phone call, a purchase order, or a lawyer is next.
